I don’t really have a
favorite this month. I haven’t really used them this month as much as I
normally would. So I’ll just do swatch samples and things.
Bag
Tresique Mini Matte
Lip Crayon
Color Florence Fig
This one is pretty
nice, doesn’t last any longer than any other lipstick. It’s not particularly
matte for me, and it’s another natural lip color, which I hope the next one
isn’t the same color as my lip, I now have three of them.
This one isn’t sold
separately. It comes in the color trios. Those run $32.00 for three which means
the lip mini is $10.67 for one alone, if you could buy it that way.
Dermelect nail polish
Color : Commando
Terra cotta
These colors are Peptide infused strength, formaldehyde and toluene free. I haven’t worn it yet to attest to color lasting. It goes on smoothly. One coat covers pretty well, and it dries pretty quickly too.
It’s $14.00 for a .4 fl oz bottle, which is what I got. I like this color for the most part. It’s a nice skin color.
Beaute Basics and
Smashbox Mascara
Beaute Basics Gel Eyeliner and brush
This is a nice navy
color and it’s pretty creamy when it goes on. I haven’t worn much blue
eyeshadow lately so I can’t say how long it stays on. It’s really pigmented so
you only have to do one or two swipes.
It costs 9.99 for the
size I got and the brush which isn’t bad at all.
Smashbox Mascara
It’s all right. I mean it’s a mascara, nothing special. This is a travel size, and it runs about $9.00.
It had a standard brush that was huge. It had pretty good application.
Tucker Ashley Perfecting
Skin Moisturizer.
I think this is my
favorite thing. I’ve used it a few times, and it does pretty well. It doesn’t
leave my skin dry or tight feeling like some do. It dries nicely on the skin
and is smooth under makeup.
Of course it’s the
most expensive, to buy it from the sight, it’s 19.95.

This week has been crazy, and I wasn't as a head as I wanted to be, so here's a little bit of a photo dump.
Day 5: Phone case
I love this phone case. It's so me. Kind of decayed, but girly and theirs a bird. I love birds. It was my first big girl phone case too. When I got my I-phone last year, I literally took a week and hunted the exact right phone case for me.
So, on Halloween night, I went to see Phantom of the Opera with some family and friends. At the end, they were selling a whole bunch of promotional things and among them were signed notes from the Phantom of the Opera along with his head shot.
Since they were the notes that were used in the play, there were a limited number of the notes, and my roommate and I got two.
So that's my playbill, note and his head shot. The two little owls are from Israel. I may start an owl collection one day.
Day 7: Outfit of the Day
Well if that don't just look like a mug shot. Here's my outfit today and sorry no make up close ups. Again, you see the obsession with owls coming out. Actually, it's with most all birds except crows. That and it's one of two long sleeved shirts I own.
I don't really know where any of this stuff came from any more. The pants were given to me, I think the shirt is from target and the boots... I don't remember. I bought them years ago.
Hopefully I don't have to do another dump update, but this one is to catch me up.
For some reason, I can't deviate from the seasonal ones right now. Just as well. The secret menu updates regularly. Today was my first real day off, not even because I had to go in for additional training.
I did some wandering around Tucson today and ended up at Starbucks. I decided to get the spice cake frappuccino.
Order:
A vanilla bean frappuccino
Add caramel lining
Add chocolate chips
1 Pump of cinnamon dolce syrup
add vanilla whiped cream topped with Caramel crunchies. (I didn't have them.)
This one was really good. I don't know how to describe the taste, but it's really delicious. Especially once it all mixes together. It doesn't have the bite that I normally associate with spice cake.
For the last theme, it's Halloween Costume. Since I'm not big on Halloween, this is just a costume that you don't need to buy anything for, maybe bobby pins.
Yes, I know I'm late, but it's done and that's all that counts.
So, I didn't record audio on the makeup because I couldn't figure it out.
But I'll put everything I used below.
Moisturize
I applied Rimmel Long lasting Primer
Using Makeup Forever Color Corrector, I covered my blemishes and Rudolph nose with green, and then blended that with a skin tone.
I used a salmon color under the eyes then went over that with the lightest color.
I did the triangle under my eyes with the Covergirl ready set, gorgeous concealer under my eyes. I blended that out with a flat top brush.
I put my foundation over that using the Maybeline Fit Me! Matte Poreless and covered that with my Rimmel Powder.
I primed my eyes with the Original Urban Decay Primer potion.
All my colors are from my Ulta Pallet, but mostly you just need a light grey, mid tone grey, and black.
Using a fluffy brush, I used the mid tone grey, sterling, to hollow out my eye. I brought it on the lid and in the crease following the shape of my eyeball under the lid.
Next I took an angled fluffy brush with black, sin city and put it in the crease following the same curve of my eye, really trying to get it hollowed out.
I packed the light grey on the lid with an eye shadow brush.
I used NYC CityProof 24hr black liner pencil. In the 1920's the round eyes were still popular so I didn't do any cat, and pulled the line down. Under my eye, I put a few little dots along the lower lash line. I used a smudge brush to blend all that out. Then I applied my Lights Camera Flashes mascara from Tarte.
In the 1920's eyebrows were drawn down to roughly about the middle of the eye. I took an angled brush and a brown creme eye liner, perfection and carried the edge of my eyebrow down in a thin line. I tried it with a powder and I had to do too much correcting.
I applied brush in circular motions on the apple of my cheeks. I used the orange because that's all I have for the most part.
Next the fun part. The lips. There was an obsession with the cupid's bow and red lips. Pale skin was in and they really wanted the contrast.
I took my NYX Chaos Lipstick. I took a lipstick brush and lined my cupids bow and lower lip ignoring the outer edges. I filled it in and took the concealer
to cover the edges.
Lastly, I took my black eye liner and gave myself a beauty mark.
