November Photo Challenge: Days 5 Phone case, 6 Keepsake, and 7 Outfit of the Day

November Photo Challenge: Days 5, 6, and 7
This week has been crazy, and I wasn't as a head as I wanted to be, so here's a little bit of a photo dump.

Day 5: Phone case

I love this phone case. It's so me. Kind of decayed, but girly and theirs a bird. I love birds. It was my first big girl phone case too. When I got my I-phone last year, I literally took a week and hunted the exact right phone case for me.
I got it from CreateIt Your Way on Etsy.

Day 6: Keepsake

So, on Halloween night, I went to see Phantom of the Opera with some family and friends. At the end, they were selling a whole bunch of promotional things and among them were signed notes from the Phantom of the Opera along with his head shot.
Since they were the notes that were used in the play, there were a limited number of the notes, and my roommate and I got two.
So that's my playbill, note and his head shot. The two little owls are from Israel. I may start an owl collection one day.

Day 7: Outfit of the Day

Well if that don't just look like a mug shot. Here's my outfit today and sorry no make up close ups. Again, you see the obsession with owls coming out. Actually, it's with most all birds except crows. That and it's one of two long sleeved shirts I own.
I don't really know where any of this stuff came from any more. The pants were given to me, I think the shirt is from target and the boots... I don't remember. I bought them years ago.

Hopefully I don't have to do another dump update, but this one is to catch me up.

In Search Of. . . Beauty: Outfit of the Day

Man my legs look manish
That's the outfit and make up of the day. I was going to a church event, but still wanted something aesthetically interesting. Plus, I'm Scottish. I must wear plaid.
I don't know where I got any of this stuff from. The shirt's super old; I think I got it from Cato's. The skirt and the shoes were free.
When I went to college, they had a specific room in the dorms where girls dumped their old clothes. What's better than free clothes. Not a whole lot. This is actually a really weird skirt. if I were to show the waist band, it would look like a pirate skirt with huge big silver lace holes. It had string that I took out and I just show the bottom.

These are the shoes. They're red jellies. Like the ones you had as a kid. I'm fairly sure they come from Target, but I don't know. I just know they're plastic, and before you say gross plastic shoes. I went to college in Florida. Do you know how much it rains in Florida? A lot. that's how much.

Anyway, on to make up.
That obviously is a full face.

In Search Of. . . Beauty and Style: Outfit of the Day

In Search Of. . . Beauty and Style: Outfit of the Day

All right, so I've obviously never done one of these before. It's an outfit of the day. I hope you guys can at least tolerate it.
If you read the previous post about my goals, I talked about fixing this skirt up. Here it is all done. Originally, the skirt was a dress that just didn't fit me on top, even when I was super thin. I'd got it from TJ Maxx because look at that beautiful pattern. Then I sewed a crinoline into it, so it would have a vintage feel. The juniors size 5/6 prom dress that made the crinoline came from Ross. I made the head band. I don't remember where the white shirt came from. Probably Wet Seal and the blue heels are from Cato's.

These are my accessories. Shoes and a head band because I don't wear much jewelry any more except my peridot ring.

This a little bow I made from extra fabric from my skirt.  it was my fur humans outfit of the day and she hated every last second that she wore it.

Here's the head band both alone and in my hair. It was an old one that my mom had left lying around. I grabbed it and covered it with the extra fabric.

That's it for clothes.
Here's a couple of shots of my makeup.
I have this huge Ulta pallet that I got for Christmas years ago and no matter how much I want to buy a new one I can't bring myself to do it. Because it has almost any color I could want.

If you care to know what I'm wearing its:
It's Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous in color 110 Creamy Natural
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed powder Sandstorm.
the Elf Golden Bronzer little four color shimmer square for highlight, bronzer, and contour
Some highlight and concealer from Makeup Forever
The middle color from the Covergirl instant cheekbones for blush
NYC Smooch over Nars Satin Lip Pencil Rikugien on the lips I got for being a semaphore member.
Prestige Natural Arch Brow powder in light to medium
Elizabeth Mott Queen of the Fill it Medium Dark That I got from my Ipsy bag
They're Real Mascara from Benefit I got free at Ulta from a sampler promotion.
The rest are from that Ulta pallet
 Truffle as the transition shade
Sapphire in the crease
Bayou on the lid.
Dark Denim as the liner
Blue waters under the eye

Wow that's a lot of information.
Ok, well that's everything.  Let me know what you think If I had too many pictures or not enough or what.
